I am a tapestry weaver and dyer, and create landscape inspired tapestries combined with embroidery, and highly-textured contemporary framed pieces. My work is drawn from the natural world around me. I want to capture the serenity and beauty of nature and landscapes and infuse the emotions they evoke into my weavings. I love the slow and intentional process of being immersed in weaving.

I use a mix of modern and traditional weaving techniques, and also hand-dye my own yarns for weaving landscapes. This gives me such an breadth of hues for each piece, and creates the delicious tonal variations that really help the tapestries come alive. It really is like painting with yarn!

I love doing commissions of people’s most special places, and spreading the tapestry love by holding workshops and taking my looms to various shows and exhibitions…
