Bridget Lane

Influenced by the forms and styles of late Modernism, my work explores landscapes and wild places, either physical or spiritual. Through a deconstructed view, I strip away extraneous details to convey an essence of the most basic elements, such as colour, line and form.

Intensity of colour is important to me and I am continually exploring how a visually simple form can be enhanced with divergent colour tones.

I’m a selected Member of the Society of Designer Craftsmen and the Find A Maker directory, and have exhibited work in both the UK and Australia.
