Medieval Tapestries, Mosaics, History, Film, Archaeology and gardens and flowers in particular, influence my choices to create tapestries, saturated with color and rich mixtures complimented with sensuous outlines of gold or black.

A graduate of the Tapestry Dept of Edinburgh Collage of Art, I then entered the world of Antiques and Interior Design before a three year stint at the Dovecot Studios.

I like to let the weaving dictate where it's going and therefore work from a very basic cartoon of a few key lines and hinds of colour, light and shade.
