Although I have been involved in textile activities for over four decades, including hand spinning, hand dyeing and weaving of cloth, I have found in tapestry weaving a textile medium that most completely enables my creativity to find expression. I find it has the unique characteristic of combining opportunistic spontaneity whilst developing in a very measured way over time.
