I am addicted to colour - my heart thumps, pulse races, and my fingers twitch towards the bobbin.

The best fix is weaving tapestry where I am immersed in my treasured stash of wool, silk, linen and wire.

My inspiration, aside from colour, is often the things I see everyday, perhaps something catches the light in an usual way. Very often there is a memory or a story that unravels in my head first as I walk, then as I weave.
